We understand that some of our users receive Individualised Funding, the Carer Support Subsidy or some other form of Disability Support funding. With Mycare, you can choose how to pay your workers.
Hiring your worker on Mycare
You may prefer to contract your worker to provide services. Mycare has made it easy for you to book your workers visits and pay them securely through your Mycare account.
When you book your first visit, we'll help you set up a contractor agreement with your worker. Having an agreement and paying your worker through Mycare means:
- You don't need to be an employer
- We help the worker out by deducting tax and paying it on their behalf to the Inland Revenue Department each month
- You'll see a transparent record of all visits and payments made
- We'll provide you with the information you need to claim payments from your IF host.
Employing your worker
You may already be set up as an employer through a payroll system managed by your funding host. If so, you can choose to continue to employ your workers and pay them outside the Mycare platform.
