If you have support workers that you book regularly, we’ve made it faster and easier for you to manage booking and scheduling visits. We have created functions that let you quickly “copy-and-paste” a week of visits you have made in the past, or alternatively you can allow workers to book their own visits.
Many of us enjoy a regular routine when it comes to receiving support, so often different weeks end up looking the same, with visits booked on the same days at the same times. To save you some time we have created a ‘copy week’ function which will enable you to copy visits. This function has been available for a while, however, like any new update it wasn’t perfect to start with; after receiving your feedback we’ve made some more improvements. Now you can copy weeks, and also choose which workers you want to copy from one week to the next. This can be extra helpful if one of your workers is away, but all the others are going to continue to make their usual visits.
Just like booking a visit normally, you can choose to include mileage and other expenses if necessary. You are also able to choose how many weeks you want to book in advance. It can be useful to book your workers in advance so that they know the days and times you or your loved one needs support, enabling both you and the worker to plan ahead.
If you are struggling to find the time to book visits, there is also a feature which enables you to allow one or more of your workers to book their own visits. This allows them to input their hours and tasks as agreed with you, and all you need to do is manually approve these visits by each Monday at 11.59pm, for workers to be paid in the next pay round. Manual approval helps to make sure you are still aware of what is being completed and paid for each week.
To access this feature, click on ‘Workers’ on your menu tab once you are signed into your account.
You will see all your worker profiles pop up. Under their names you will see you can choose to enable the worker to create visits.
In the image above you can see one worker has the ‘Allow worker to create their visits’ function enabled and other one doesn’t.
