Everyone in New Zealand must pay ACC levies. These levies go towards insuring and protecting your most valuable asset – YOU!
In New Zealand, the ACC scheme operates to ensure that you are covered in the event of a work injury. The levies provide support for your care and your return to work when you need it.
Workplaces vary and so does the ACC levy. You will have an account which is linked to your RealMe Account. However, if you are unsure whether you have an account you can call ACC and they will be able to help. It is important that you follow all the instructions on the online form to ensure that you fill in the correct code for your field of work. For example, if you are providing personal care for an individual your code would be Q879045. However, if you are offering childcare then your code will differ. To find out which code best suits you click here.
To ensure you pay the correct rate call ACC or check out the website before the 22nd June and make sure all your details are correct. You will then be invoiced by ACC which will provide you with details of when your payment is due.
